18-19.07.2019 – second transnational SEAL project meeting in Turin (Italy)
On 18-19 July 2019 the second meeting of the SEAL project partners – Senior Education for Active Living (Through Education for Active Living) took place. Representatives of organizations working with seniors in the Czech Republic, Turkey, Poland and Italy met at the Institute for the Deaf in Turin (Instituto dei Sordi Di Torino Fondazione Onlus) – one of the oldest such institutes in Italy. Partners worked on the conclusions of an international survey conducted to identify the needs of seniors and those working with them in the area education and activation. They shared examples of the good practices on how to activate seniors in their countries. Afterwords partners participated in the presentations about the prevention of dementia and met with seniors living in Decibel House, a centre for deaf people.
